Yea! The much awaited holidays have finally arrived. So sorry for not blogging for a long time as there had been lots of events going on recently. There's been so much going on. Shall tell you the more memorable ones.
First on the list........KELONG (M'sia)! Yup. Its the houses on sea....that type of kelong. Went during deepavali (I think). Stayed there for a night. It was cool. Though the water source was scarce. We left S'pore on the 1st day early in the morning, about 7am. We drove our car in, together with Ying & Yan. Reached near 11++. Then waited at the pier, before taking a ferry, or should i say boat, in. Everybody, which was near a 100+, slept together, under 1 roof. They had double deckers. Life there was very relaxing. Many were fishing, while others could watch disc, or play cards, or mahjong. After having our lunch, enjoying the scenic views (though it was mainly just waters) and playing a few rounds pf mahjong, a boat came to fetch some of us to a nearby beach. Had a great time playing in the waters....it was certainly much clearer than that of Singapore's. Went back, had dinner, continued playing, then went to bed. The next day, we left at 10am. On our way back, we went to JUSCO. It was huge. But the things were like ex. So in the end, did not buy anything. Went to another shopping mall after that. Left for Singapore at night.....luckly, there wasn't a jam. So, we reached home quite early, around 10+. It was a wonderful experience. Next time wana relax, can go there. Smilez!
Next, Work Experience Programme. For the whole of last week, 8 cedarians, including me, were posted to Wang Foong Industrial, to work. And that happened to be Daphne's dad's company. However, they were not in Singapore when we were there. But, his partner was there to supervise us. The boss was a really nice guy. Always treating us to food. The wrokers were great people as well. In case you're wondering, we are working in a food manufacturing factory (specifically sausages - house of gourmet) Got to experience the process of how all those food was made. It isn't easy at all. We all had a tough week. None of us failed to be free from body aches after the week. The extreme temperatures caused us to fall ill as well. As the meat would turn bad under normal temperatures after a long time, we had to work on the raw food in cold rooms of about 0C - 5C. And we were only wearing windbreakers! Despite all those tough conditions, we truly enjoyed ourselves. Hope to be able to go back again during the next holidays!
There were still a 101 things that had taken place during this period of time. But I shall stop here now (Going to watch 1 of the many shows i aspire to complete this holidays :] )
